May Showers - Family - Utah Photography

I had the opportunity to take some photos of cute Cara and her family. After a nice week, we were surprised by a stormy evening but we still had a little fun. I'm sure Mitch thinks I'm pretty silly now after seeing all my tricks to get miss "M" to look at the camera... but, hey, we got a few in before the rain! Here are a few of the ones we got.

I saw another photographer doing something similar and it looked like fun, so here is my first try. The character follows Maslow's, plus one beyond. The two below were just for fun.

Little Angel - Newborn Photographer

I feel so lucky to have been able to take some photos for one of my good friends, Nicole, and her new baby! "Mr. C" was sooo sweet and adorable. I think he cried once for a minute and was happy the rest of the time. My kids have rarely, if ever, been so patient, let alone have any hair (check out his beautiful head!) Congrats Nate & Nicole!

Brooke & Bryan - The Wedding

Logan, in December you expect to see snow, and lots of it.... not green grass and blue sky. Brooke and Bryan had a beautiful day to to have a beautiful wedding. I guess they were just doing things right! It was a lot of fun. Here are some photos, along with a few from the bridals.

Sweet Shoes!!

Looking at the bridals I took last week, you'd never guess it was December. Green grass and even rain! I didn't want Bryan to see Brooke's gorgeous dress, but I had to post these shoes! I love them! I think it's so fun when a bride has shoes as sweet as these. They remind me a little of her.. you don't always see it right away on the surface, but what a fun personality! Thanks for a fun day, Brooke! We'll post some more photos later.. probably with the wedding day.

"Norman Rockwell" -esk Christmas Card Family Photograph

We wanted to do a fun sledding "Norman Rockwell" looking postcard. Doug came up with the idea and we laughed as we shot a bunch of photos in our garage. It was funny to (try) and fit everyone on the sled and keep some of the kids laughing and happy. This is what we came up with.
