Sweet Shoes!!
Looking at the bridals I took last week, you'd never guess it was December. Green grass and even rain! I didn't want Bryan to see Brooke's gorgeous dress, but I had to post these shoes! I love them! I think it's so fun when a bride has shoes as sweet as these. They remind me a little of her.. you don't always see it right away on the surface, but what a fun personality! Thanks for a fun day, Brooke! We'll post some more photos later.. probably with the wedding day.

True Love

Okay, okay, so my husband and girls are the absolute best thing in my life, but I'm so excited about my new set up. I must admit that I have more enthusiasm than ever. My amazing husband built me a super photo computer, we upgraded to CS3, and got a camera I find myself dreaming about, and a lens or two are soon to come. Now I just have to create some time..... Here's a test shot we took on a hike up Logan Canyon, only the first has any editing. You can double-click to see up close.

Kitchen and Camera Shops

Chris at Love to Cook at Kitchen Kneads needed a quick photo this week. He was nominated for the "Top 20 Under 40" - way to go! Oh, and if you haven't been to his store . . . you really should check out all the neat kitchen stuff. I could always spend time shopping there or at a good camera shop. Oh, how easy it is to spend money, huh? :) Good Luck Chris!

Lewiston Reunion
I drove out to Lewiston over the 4th of July weekend to shoot some photos and was reminded again how beautiful it is here in Cache Valley. I hadn't been out that far in a while, so I wasn't quite sure where we would shoot, but I got excited the instant I saw this old barn. Here are a few of my favorites.

Turner Anniversary
Gerald and his sweet wife, Cynthia, celebrated a very special anniversary at the Lion House last week. They were married fifty years ago. They were joined by their children, spouses, adorable grandkids, and a few special visitors to celebrate this great occasion. I am so glad I was able be a part of this special occasion! Thanks!

Here is an edit of the family shot, along with two that you may click on for close-ups of faces.

Keeping Busy
My 2 girls keep me quite busy! I'm so lucky to have fun with them all day. Every once and a while (nap time is great!), I like to experiment a bit, as you can see below where I've mixed some textures to "antique" this photo... I'm still debating what I think about it, so I thought I'd post it. Feel free to comment on anything in my blog, and you can also double-click on most images to see them larger.

Future Brides
I had an opportunity to take a few pictures of a group of young women (beehives). I was a little unsure at first... I was going to be shooting Jr. High girls in wedding attire... hmmm. but once we got started things clicked, these girls were so fun! I was only with them for a little under an hour, but in that hour I got a glimpse of some great personalities. I got a real kick out of taking these pictures. I hope that they had fun, too. I only had about 5 minutes with each girl, so I was pleased with the images I was able to get. I told them they better not be this beautiful in a wedding dress again for quite a few years ;)

Having Some Fun
Wednesday, April 2, 2008
So, I'm a little slow... I've been intending to use this blog as a site and post photos for quite a while and am just getting to it now. Long overdue are the photos I took this last summer for Andrea. I had a blast- both she and Gary were so fun to shoot with, although I think Gary thought I was a little silly when we first started shooting their engagement pictures. Not to worry, though, we all warmed up and had a delightful time and got some GORGEOUS pictures! Andrea is beautiful; was a beautiful bride, and had a truly beautiful wedding- one of the most special I've been a part of. Here are a sample of pictures from their engagement, bridals, and wedding. Enjoy!

Retouching and Corrections
We are often asked about retouching and corrections. We do minor corrections like removing facial blemishes, whitening teeth, and softening wrinkle lines. We also often get asked to do more drastic corrections such as digital liposuction, if requested (although you’re beautiful just as you are!). Often, in large family groups with children, we do head-swaps. Repairs to your old torn, scratched, discolored and otherwise damaged old photographs are done as well.
